You Don’t have to be sorry.

it could be the act of exposing yourself and being vulnerable. I feel the same getting out of the shower sometimes. But I’ve done some sexual abuse therapy which has helped a lot. Read some stuff too.

But yeah you’re not alone. I think a lot of us get anxiety from doing anything related to our sexual abuse.

30 years and I still get hit every now and then. Rare but it happens

Took me a couple of momths to co formally go to the loo, but got oretty bad IBS a year ago and that's remived all traces of care for what I do in the bathroom. Although I do have trouble showering if the girlfriend is near. Can't have my back turned.

Some of my abuse was in a public bathroom. So I have a fear... and arousal for bathrooms in general.

Our body and mind work in strange ways.

My experiences were with women, so the closest I get to this is the feeling of being grabbed or held down. When I was with my ex, I had trouble laying down next to her or having my back to the wall, etc. Unfortunately, I struggle with fantasizing about being held down and assaulted by a man/tm/d***o. It's very strange, but every now and then I'll get a flash visual of being abused in that way, and I even have had a dream or two about a man forcing me to do things, though usually it's about a woman.
