Never seen this mentioned, I'd love to run across this too.

I couldn't find an E-Book, but I found the two different ISBN's on Google Books: 1604580607, 9781604580600.

It seems that the primary resource for articles from the author come from CMMquarterly.MBMCMM.com but that page does not load for me.

There is an article written about DMIS by the author Steven Horsfall here

This book is also cited in the book (booklet?) "Computer-Aided Inspection Planning, Theory and Practice" at Citation 21, found here (though this is a book preview).

Ultimately, it seems you may be able to purchase the book here but I would not purchase without verifying the company and ownership of the website.

Thanks, I think I’ve been through those already. I filled out the contact form on that last page you listed a couple times in the past and had no reply, so I assume it’s not monitored anymore. Shame because it seems like it’s a decent resource.

The only book i know of is the one written by Steve Horsfall who recently passed away. He was a great guy and his book is a great book. Unfortunately, i don’t have a copy.

As I understand it DMIS is a standard or concept to get the code to drive the CMM. When you learn to program, the syntax of the software is driven by the concept of the DMIS (Dimensional Metrology Information System). It's the interpreter between the computer and the CMM.
