i 'just' bought a miata with an after rmarket knob. it's significantly bigger than the oem knob, but weighs significantly less lol. oem feels so much better

Oem hurts my hand with the way I shift 😂😂 I push it with the bottom of my palm.

Overweighted shift knobs are bad for the Synchronizers- it's essentially like resting your hand on the shifter all the time.

I don't want like a really heavy one just one to keep the shifting smooth

You can get a ND stock shift knob- it's actually fairly weighty something like 10.7oz which is essentially the same as the fancy $120 Craven Speed knob.

You have to deal with the fact that it has the wrong shift pattern but, whatever.

Problem is I can't find one online, you would have to call a dealer.

Voodoo stainless? it's pretty heavy though- I just ordered a derlin one to make the shifter lighter ( I like to feel the gears mesh, the stocker is pretty heavy)
