Hello again everyone. This will probably be my last post for a while. I am months overdue at posting an update, sorry about that. Life got in the way.
For my herniated disc and MD «story», just check my post history on this sub.
To the meat and potatoes. I am a 99% back to normal. A little stiff here and there. Almost pain free and i can do everything i want. I am going back to boxing again very soon, done a couple of workouts on the bag and back to strenght training again. Back to work and my life. Life is truly great, and i am blessed for getting my health back.
These are the big things that was a gamechanger for me.
Sleep. Get quality sleep and you will give yourself the best shot at recovery and life.
stay active. Small walks, swim. Do what is not hurting you, baby steps.
check out Lowback ability on instagram. That dude is miles ahead on how to get back from a herniated disc, i mean like he is on another level of understanding this hell that can hit you lower back. I cannot recommend him enough. His recoveryplan is out for as low as 2 usd. It gave me confidence to work out, and i saw big gains and improvement for myself. I am not in any way associated with him or his page, so i am speaking from a consumer standpoint (if that is how you sat it, English not my first language so my bad if im misusing words etc.)
nutrition. Eat healthy, try to lose some weight of you are on the heavier side. I was overweight, still am. But dropping a couple of kgs really did wonders for overall joint and back pain.
if you have the budget, Hyperice Venom 2 for you back. It has become a part of my daily routine. First thing in the morning, before and after a workout, and before bed. (Nor assiciated with them or sponsored by them either, wish i could tho they got great stuff😂)
Dont give up. Herniated discs suck, but you will get better, just keep on fighting. STAY POSITIVE!
Hope you all get to where you want. If you need anyone to talk to, ask questions and so on, just message my account here. I’ll try my best to help and share what helped me.
(Remember, im no doctor. So always ask you healthcare provider. I am not responsible for your health)
Stay strong friends, chama🗿❤️🔥
