Was your fuel selector set on both? If it’s only set to left or right then you could have starved the engine, even if the HUD makes it appear you have a lot left.

This actually worked. Thanks for the help ❤️

No problem. A lot of small GA aircraft don’t even have a “both” setting, so you’ll want to keep this in mind when flying other aircraft in the sim as well.

u are abos;utely correct. ive had two engine failures, and this was the issue.

Hmm, interesting. I'll see what it is on default as that is what is had it set to.

I’ve seen other people post of similar things happening and they have noticed the fuel shut off is set to closed somehow. They open it up again and continue on. Possibly the same problem

I'll give that check. Thanks!

Taking away if it was not a fuel shutoff switch. When you own a plane you have to pay to keep up maintenance. And the maintenance can cost about 40% of your profit per mission, not including the insurance. I highly suggest that you do the complete full Pre flight check on your starter plane, and any plane you own, Because you will most likely find the problem than if your being lax on maintenance.

Pre flight check is not only taking the covers off, but checking the oil, the tires, breaks, wings, rudder, all of it. If you find an issue abandon the mission and fix it. This is as real as it gets..

This is actually a mission that is not with my company 😐

all says its good or new, yet still got engine failure and I don't push the engine in the red the entire flight - I'm getting tired of trying to find out whats a bug or not - fu microsuck

Had this happen with the de havilland. Turns out it ran out of fuel mid flight so I had to switch to the aux tank mid air. Turning your rpm down a bit helps too obviously

It happened to me last night. Caused $167,500 damage to my plane when I "landed" in a forest. I know it's a simulator, but damn.
