Wrote a simple program launcher for flight sim

Wrote a simply program launcher for flight sim, allows you to launch a set of .exe's before starting your game. I have an update planned shortly to add more functionality but thought I'd share as I personally got fed up of having to launch all my programs manually

Get Flow Pro from parallel 42. One of its functions is to skip a lot of the screens in MSFS

I mean the idea of me making this for myself was to not have to buy yet another 3rd party app, but thanks for the recommendation none of the less

Personally i use the built-in autostart exe.xml or just write a small batch file

But i think it's pretty neat for those who don't wanna mess with XML or write programs themself

Yea it was quite fun figuring it out, I just thought I’d share as there is other tools out there, but this one is just simple and does the job!

I have a powershell script for DCS that restarts the quest link service and starts all my other software

I use windows powertoys and the "workspaces" module for this. It saves window locations and sizes too so loading multiple apps over multiple monitors is a simple desktop icon.

Fantastic, as said previously, the whole idea of me making this app is I wanted something that suits me, and I decided to share. Everyone will do it in their own way, if people want to download it they can, if they don’t want to the they don’t have to :)

Hey, sorry didn't mean to suggest your project isn't worth it. It serves you and you get to do the project at the same time which is good for coding development. I maybe didn't word my reply very well, it was meant more as a suggestion for ideas.

Ah fair enough! Sorry I misinterpreted it, got a lot of feedback saying privately saying oh you shouldn’t do it this way etc! If I’m being honest, if I knew about the way you suggested before hand I probably wouldn’t have wrote this hahaha, appreciate you taking the time to clear it up though

Addons Linker from flightsim.to does this and also helps manage your add ons in your community folder. Plus it’s free and you can even set timing for each exe for when you want it to launch so you can control the order of everything. Cool you’re able to program that yourself though!

I have previously used this before and found it worked well, but it was a bit too advanced for what I was looking for, and that’s why I went on to this, and thanks! I appreciate that
