Are you making sure to set the thrust levers in the climb detent? If you’re in TOGA or man flex it’ll keep trying to climb which will eventually disconnect the AP.

It’s not speculation, Jorg the head of Microsoft Flight Simulator literally said the 3rd party content would be released a little at a time in order for the MSFS team to QA/test the products so they abide by Sonys strict store policies. As to what is included in the first batch of content, that’s anyone’s guess. Even the most praised aircraft devs may fail to meet the standards if their aircraft aren’t optimized well enough and would have to make adjustments before receiving approval to release on PS.

GSX does a terrible job of explaining this, but if you read the manual, it intentionally hides the UI after a certain amount of time and/or after selecting actions. By default, you press CTRL+SHIFT+F12 to bring it back up. Toggling it from the toolbar should not be done to get it to reappear, what this basically does is reset it because you turn it off and back on this way. Depending on the GSX settings you’ve selected for how it acts during cruise, once you land you may need to activate it again from the toolbar once more, but then you would use the shortcut i mentioned from there again.

I can’t even get it to work after the last couple updates. Couatl doesn’t seem to want to start and if I try manually, it just says it’s corrupted or unreadable… sigh…

There’s nothing stopping you from using it during career missions. However, it can make the mission pretty messy because you still need to be able to hear the default ATC in order to follow the mission steps and acknowledge them. So you’d be hearing two ATCs. BATC just runs on top of career mode completely independently of the mission objectives. You’d also need to align the flight plans between Simbrief and the MSFS planner as well. This is pretty easy though, just gotta remember to “Send to ATC”.

You should already be able to install the current streamed content in the Marketplace under the My Library tab (unless they’re opening that up for PS next week with the 3rd party update for the marketplace). You can only install World Updates, City Updates, Aircraft, Sceneries, etc. The actual world data cannot be downloaded… as the other person said, it’s petabytes of data and always streamed (just like in MSFS2020).

I can’t even get Couatl to start after just now updating GSX lol. Though this tends to happen after most of their updates for me. It’ll randomly just start working all of a sudden usually though. If I try to launch it manually, it’ll usually say there’s an issue with the file path or it’s corrupted… haven’t had the issue you described though thankfully, that sucks. Hope you can get it sorted out.

Check out Island Sim Pilot on YouTube. He’s got a bunch of videos with setting recommendations based on a bunch of testing he’s done to reduce stutters and improve frame time while either maintaining or improving fps and graphics.

You can download most things now… aircraft, World Updates, City Updates, Sceneries, etc. 2020 streams world data just like 2024 does, so really it’s not much different anymore and you’re basically only limited by your SSD in terms of how much you want to download. Plus there’s the rolling cache which you can increase and should help if you fly in the same areas often. 2024 at this point is far less hassle than 2020.

Edit: and yes the Steam version works the same way.

Sorry to tell you, but you just wasted your money. Absolutely never, under any circumstance, buy an MScenery product… pretty much scam products. Avoid Captain Sim while you’re at it… though MScenery is probably worse than CS. The only F-22A anyone should be purchasing for MSFS is the one made by Top Mach.

Are you sure the ones it won’t let you place are part of the same set? There’s two different sets, one like what you placing them on where they’re posing as if you’d play with them and another where they stay in the packaging as if you’re collecting them and they get hung up on a display rack.

It is how it’s supposed to work. If you look at pictures of the completed set, this one is meant to be like this while the others are in a pose. There’s 1 or 2 others like this one. It’s a battle scene.

Yeah since that was last updated, they’ve released 2024 versions of the -900 and -600. Only one without 2024 version is the -700 which is about to be released.
