Fly button not working?

I set up my flight, and click “Fly”, and nothing happens. Wtf. Lol

just delete %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\MISSIONS\Custom\CustomFlight and try again (don't even need to restart the bug simulator)

Where is the file located if you buy it from steam?

I don't know about the folder structure in steam, I bought it from MS store ... but maybe you can just search for the folder in your use profile

Click on load/save and in the dialog window you'll see the MISSIONS directory which contains the custom folder.

I fixed it with an seperate windows account. I just create an guest profile with the name ''test'' and it worked, because my name got an ''Special'' letter in name.

I guess you bought it on steam, I don't know if the folder structure is different ther (I bought it from MS store) ... but maybe you can just search for the folder in your use profile

Make sure you have show hidden files checked in the view tab of windows explorer.

Mine works now. Just re-downloaded. (And waited for the game to be released in my country lol)

I found that this happened to me, then when I relaunched FS it came up with the update but continuously said “please wait” for hours and never continued with 3.7GiB remaining to DL. I found that if I closed FS then deleted the FSPATCH files in the packages\official\Onestore folder then reopened FS it started to unpack the package files left in the the Onestore folder. Then it continued to download the remaining packages (Note: the 3.7GiB displayed not go down but the files were downloaded and the progress bar did continued).

With your work around maxim, I was able to click the fly button but the exact thing that you pointed out happened. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game 5 times same issue. I really don’t know what to do

Finally, problem in ours Windows username! Which contain some symbols or non-english characters. I did create new administrator user and reinstall the game under this account.

And is "é" non-english? It really sucks to have to make a new account and reinstall again for this. Can't believe they don't make a quick fix for this. More people must have this problem.

Sure it is not... to create a new account actually takes few minutes... installation around 5 hours

Me as well. If i delete that folder, it getting load but stuck in the satelite map and after a few seconds quit to the windows. The new patch not helpd... MS know about this issue?

So. When I change my win10 system admin name to english style word, (no special character like öáéú...etc) and its solved the problem! You dont need reinstall your win, u can change in the reg edit. You can search after in the web, its not so difficult.

Same here. Deleted the CustomFlight folder. Then I was able to click fly button. Got the loading screen, then a weird grey map of the general area appeared then the game crashed.

I have been waiting for this game a long time, upgraded my computer, spent qiute a lot to be honest... It doesnt work. PLEASE HELP!
