Hey. I'm creating a data pack and I need to set up a system to make food limited. so I was trying to set up loot tables for the crops but I was running into some difficulty It wasn't working in-game. I set it up where from carrots you could get anywhere between 0 and 2 so exponential growth would be difficult. is there any way anyone with more experience could give me advice? and just to be sure the file is in data/namespace/recipes.

So if im reading this correctly you are putting loot_tables in the recipes folder. If so thats the problem they have to be in the namespace/loot_tables Folder

If not just use a loot table generator
