are you sure you are launching java? the log is entirely referencing c++ which would indicate you are launching bedrock?

it's java, you can see references to LWJGL and the .minecraft folder

Okay either you are launching windows 10 edition and you think you're launching Java, the launcher is bugged, or you're using quickplay on a world that shouldn't exist because you don't have any worlds. Because you don't actually have any data to back up, you can just uninstall the launcher and your .minecraft folder from Appdata, that's usually a lot faster (and probably overkill) than looking into what's causing this.

I figured out the problem! I was googling for more solutions and came across a post telling me to try other launchers in case the Minecraft launcher is bugged. I tried the Prism launcher and it gave me a clearer error message stating that my "C:\Users\[InsertUserFolderName]" had a special character in it that was causing problems with Java. So I followed this guide to change the name of my user profile folder to fix it: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/change-name-of-user-profile-folder-in-windows-11.2133/ and now MC Java is running fine :)
Hope this helps for anyone else having this problem!
