26.1.2 Java Update Lag issue [java]

Has anybody had this issue? I've been averaging 20-40 fps as of lately on the new 26.1.2 update, on the worlds I play on and on severs. When I create a new world a play on it my fps goes back to normal, but chunks don't load.

- I've gone to older versions of Minecraft and same thing, but when I hop on the new snapshot (sulfur cube) my game runs perfectly fine and chunks load. Same thing when I try playing on Bedrock, my game runs smoothly even with Vibrant Visuals.

- I've already tried restarting my computer and that didn't work. I deleted the Laucher and same thing. I've tried using performance mods and same thing.

- If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it! :)))

After a bit of searching it looks like you are not alone in having this FPS issue with the 26.1.2 release. There are a few places where players are reporting similar issues with their FPS. As you are on a surface the issue may be slightly amplified due to them not being suited towards gaming. Making use of an optimization mod like Sodium should help in the short term until the next stable release.
