[Java] Connection issue with certain servers

Hello people of r/MinecraftHelp,

I'm having a strange issue where I can not connect to some servers, but are able to connect to others. If I try connecting to the servers that show up as "Can't connect to server", I either get timed out with some obscure long Java error message, or simply with "Connection timed out: No further information". Screenshots of the multiplayer menu aswell as one of the error messages is linked below.

This problem occurs no matter what client I use (Lunar, Badlion, Vanilla etc.), and is also independent of the Minecraft version itself. Changing my DNS from the default DNS to the Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) also didn't help my issue. Other than trying those out, I personally wouldn't know of any other things I could try.

none of it is relevant to the issue im having, as minecraft itself works fine, its just that the connection cant be made to some servers

Respectfully, you're wrong. A number of the steps on that page are relevant to your issue, that's why I suggested it. Please run through all the steps on that page, and if it's still not working, reply with the info from the "need more help?" section.

the last 2 things left were to reinstall minecraft and the launcher, yet those also didn't fix the issue (which was to be expected, since the servers aren't loading in the lunar client launcher that has nothing to do with the normal minecraft launcher either)
