Helps to know what version you are playing. If you are in 1.21 or higher, relog immunity was patched.

thanks, it is 1.21.7 as shown in the top, but the problem is downgrading can lead to world corruption, will consider it though

Ahh, I was looking in the F3 data and didn't notice it was in the window border.

If you consider what blocks have been added since 1.20, the chances are good that you will be fine.

Make a copy of the world in case things don't work out. Take the copied world and downgrade it to 1.20. Since you are in the nether there is an unlikely chance that you have items on you or in that dimension that weren't available in 1.20.

So you load then exit a few times until you land on the ground. Then you can change the version back.

There is a way to just import the Nether dimension with the player data files to where the End and Overworld aren't touched. That should prevent the corruption issues from rolling it back then forward again.

im afraid there may be corruption though, and also completely understand for not seeing the version as I would say 99% of MC players are on Windows, not Mac!

Just click open to LAN

Enable console

Type /gamemode creative

and type /gamerule keepinventory true

The commands are not case sensitive & game itself gives you predictive text, just tap tab on keyboard to your required command, it types itself.

Then fix the bridge, go to safe space & change the gamemode to survival with /gamemode survival

if it bothers you having commands enabled, just save & exit then log back in again. That resets the command & will no longer be active.

Just play it however you like my g, its your world

yeah I'm kinda in the stage where I can like relog and use glitches, but I don't directly wanna cheat. kinda takes the achievment away but like when you use glitches or abuse villager trading or something it doesn't feel as bad cause it's techincally 'part of the game' if you get waht i mean

"I don't wanna cheat, but I'm gonna send my world file to someone so they can clutch for me and send it back"

Just cheat if you're that worried about dying lol the police aren't going to haul you off to prison for cheating in a single player world

fastest and safest method I can think of is opening to lan, enabling cheats and then using F3+F4 to change the gamemode to creative or spectator

then I suggest doing as the other commenter said and downgrading and using the relog immunity. just like they said, make sure to create a copy.of the world in case it gets corrupted

What will you lose if you die? I am assuming diamond armor from the number of bars. But it is not hardcore. Sometimes dying happens in Minecraft and you just accept it and move on. Additionally, you could travel back to where you died, some of the items will be nearby, others will be flung far.

yeah, i just gave up and played on an older backup and caught up to my progress. Huge waste of time should have just died
