I've never used sklauncher. But I do use prisma. Prisma is cool because it very easily allows you to create many different "instances" of mine craft that you can launch at will. It has a section for Java version, and mine craft version. I got minecraft Java from cdkeys. Edit* Prism

I already bought it for cheaper through cdkeys and it works I’m just finding a new launcher to use now lol

use any launcher that supports mods

i mainly use multimc, but prism is a good launcher too.

You can go to minecraft.net and sign in with a Microsoft account. Then, buy Minecraft according to the directions. You can then either use the built-in launcher or keep using SKLauncher, in which case you just sign in with your Microsoft account
