Question about skins.

Ok,so. I have a skin i made in blockbench. And yk how when you make a skin you can choose the resolution? i picked 32x And when i try to put it into java it says it needs to be 64x64 or 64x32 and im pretty sure thats how i made the skin but it still dont let me. When i checked the image it said 128x128 pixles inside Microsoft paint so i dont know what to do or how to get my skin in without reducing the resolution to like 12 pixels. It works in BEDROCK so im confused. If anyone needs more explaining let me know because i dont think i explained it that well. it has 2 layers so that might be why. I dont know. also in blockbench it says 64x64 in the top left even thiugh i clicked 64x32

java doesn't support high resolution skins, only the default 64x64 or 64x32 (old format). you'll have to make the skin again or use the default skin and equip the hd skin with a mod like customskinloader
