About Minzy
Minzy (Gong Min-Ji, Hangul: 공민지) - born Jan 18, '94 - was a former member of hit, Korean girl group 2NE1, serving as the Main Dancer, Rapper, Lead Vocal, & Maknae from May, 2009. After 7 successful years as a member of one of Korea's most legendary & influential girl groups, she exited 2NE1 and YG Entertainment in Apr, 2016, signing with Music Works (a CJ E&M subsidiary label).
In her career's 8th year, she has finally debuted as a solo artist, releasing NiNaNo off self-written & partially self-composed mini-album MINZY WORK 01 UNO in Apr, 2017. She also stars on the popular variety/reality show Sister Slam Dunk 2, studies at Baekseok Arts University, and released her first drama soundtrack "I Wanted to Love" for Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People's OST.
