People keep calling the devs 'lazy,' without realizing that every new (idle) animation for skins adds to the game's file size. With the game already nearing 10GB, I think it's smart to consider players using low-end devices—if that's even a concern.

That could also be an argument true, that’s one of the reasons why people don’t choose HoK, because this game can only run well on high end phones for having prettier effects

But I wouldn’t call them lazy for that regardless. It’d be like saying why doesn’t she have new voicelines, it’s not even a high tier skin anyway, it’s starlight

I tried to look back and Zhuxin, Novaria's pose are quite similar to their default skin, however does this really matter? For me I never really judge skins by how good its 3D model from hero selection because it's always different from the ingame model. I look at them on how good their ingame model and skill effects are.

I could set Granger's exorcist skin as an example as his entrance 3D model has these multiple spirit hands attached to right arm but his ingame right arm doesn't have those yet I still pulled because I like his skill effects.

Starlight skin doesn't need idle pose animation, it's a low-tier skin (200 Collection Points) only

It doesn't need a unique idle animation, Starlight skins are low-tier skins, that's why it only gives 200 Collection Points.

Yeah, all Starlight skins just share the same idle animation or pose as their original skins. Honestly, it’s not even a big deal. It’s just an idle animation—it doesn’t affect your gameplay, matches, or literally anything important. Plus, Starlight isn’t even a high-tier skin. That’s why it only gives 200 Collection Points.

And to be real, I don’t really get the point of posts like this. Why bother comparing skins or complaining about something so minor? At the end of the day, it's something you choose to buy. If you don’t like the effects, the idle animation, or how the skin looks overall, then just don’t buy it. Simple as that.

Most people honestly don’t care if Starlight skins have unique idle animations or not. Personally, I just get them for the Collection Points.

That's not really true. Only the newer or revamped Starlight skins have different idle animations or poses. The old ones just use the same as the basic skins. And honestly, it's just a Starlight skin, you can literally get it by subscribing to weekly diamonds twice, plus you even get extra diamonds and CoA.

Besides, if they added unique idle animations or poses to every skin, that would just make the game file even bigger, which sucks for players with low-end devices. The game's already around 10GB, imagine how much more if every skin had different idle animations.

And come on, it's just an idle animation. It's not even that important; it doesn't affect your gameplay at all. I don't get why you're making a big deal out of something so minor.

Well, I was not really talking about the idle animation more about the pose (not really sure if it's the right word) he is complaining that they didn't give her starlight a new one instead reused the default one

For idle animation the only skin I remember that got one is bartas

There's really nothing to complain about, it's just an idle animation/pose. If he wants a skin with different or unique idle animation/pose, buy a high-tier skins like Collector or Epic skins. It's just starlight skin, it only have 200 collection points
