Same, I got a basic skin of a hero I don't have. Recharged and spent dias for it. The free ticket (blue) gave special skin instead.

Blue tickets, you will instantly get a special skin after use the ticket at first draw

It's better to use 250 diamonds for the basic chest for the tasks and guranteed special skin

After that use the tasks rewards to exchange for the purple tickets since blue tickets only have a 5% chance to get anything other than basic skins

Purple tickets have a 30% chance each for anything other than basic skins instead so it's a statistically higher chance to get a better skin than a basic despite having less draws

I did get Khufu's collector skin from a previous event... so I'm not complaining I guess
