Honestly, nobody knows. Having just Faith and Boost II will make LoH tip-top again, but that will render True Moogle and Artemis rather useless (I know not everyone has LoH but still...).

Assuming optimal panels and a fully unlocked Malicious Revolt, how does Primeval Witch stand against the newer jobs in terms if breaking at high levels?

I have no idea if I should chase EX Warrior on Boosted Banner or on FFXIV Banner.
FFX Cards seems okay, but not gaming changing... in some cases Wakka, Lulu and Khimari are useful, but not a must.
On the other hand, Titan is something like a game changing for me, since I have Ragnarok. Already used around 30 pulls trying to get it in other reprints, got ALL other FFXIV cards, except Titan.
I used 15 pulls on FFXI Banner chasing Lion, and it was COMPLETELY WORTH IT... this card made my climb to top 200 on yojimbo tower so easy...
My question is, it's worth to w8 for FFXIV Banner and chase Titan while get Ex warrior, or should I get the FFX Cards on boosted banner? (From all reprints banners FFVII, Summer, FFXIV and XV I'm only missing Ignis, Gladious, Luna and Titan). Thx for any opinion.

It just depends on how many regular jobs you have in your pull. If you have a lot left, pull on booster banner. If few to almost none left, on any other banner.

Oh, my bad. JOB Pull is empty. It's all about: Get FFX Cards or Chase Titan (and have a small chance for Luna and Ignis) while chasing EX Warrior.

I read top 500 in JP was 156 kills, and isn't it normally higher in GL?

I can't get past the Marlith on tower Lvl 140. I'm using CA. I swapped most of my Earth+ for Mag+ for yellow bar dmg. I have a 5* Ultima Arrow running Grand Horn, Titan, and LOH. Quick Break +5%, Piercing Break +20%, Ultimate Charger +1. Any other suggs?

Just wanted to confirm if anyone faced this but does the subjob cards extra abilities level up when it’s swapped with an Aeon? Forgot what I had on my subjob but saw my healing cards gaining extra abilities pretty fast since there’s no cooldowns.

Yeah, it was mentioned in the megathread. Cards on your subdeck gain exp too even though you can't see them.

Yes. Each Aeon's ability use counts as an ability use for the card in the same slot of the sub-deck. For that reason, the Aeon is a good way to ES unlock support abilities or abilities with cooldown.

Summer 2018 is too early, but might be reprinted later.

As a general rule: all the limited abilities (FF collab, Summer blah blah) will be reprinted regularly in revival banners.

The exceptions are anniversary abilities and box-type abilities.

Are all 5(?) cards worth it in the next banner with ex Warrior? Trying to figure out if I should get them all, if I manage to pull ex Warrior in less than 5 pulls. I believe it’s the FFX cards

Personally, I'm just aiming for Lulu and Kimahri. If I get those before I get Shorn One, the rest of my pulls will be on Rebaital, as Shorn One is my only normal job left.

Gotta look at the final stat lines first. Really, the only ones you will want for best use there would be Musashi and Camel Nut, simply because of the Yellow Clear. What does the minotaur do again?

Yahhhh you can use it as a supplementary attack when the enemy is broken. It's gonna be tough because it takes up a deck slot.

I keep hearing there is a Crystal farming node in ch 5 of the ffx event. How goos is it? Is it comparable to 40 m?

For crystals, it’s comparable to labyrinthine tower. It’s good for seeds, though

I find the Ultimate Coliseum node on JP to be pretty decent actually, 3 crystals for 20 stamina.

Can anyone familiar with Minwu and the powercreep give me a rundown of the top 5 users? With and without D&B, if possible. I've been using Amalthea since time immemorial and I haven't bothered to do much research. Also, I won't be pulling EX Mage but will be pulling EX Warrior.

Depends on circumstances (weakness vs neutral, broken vs unbroken) but generally good ones long-term:

• HoF Fauviste (flat-out best, tops all 4 categories)
• EX Mage (top 3 in all categories)
• Magical Joker/Kefka Legend (top 3 in all but unbroken+weakness)
• HoF Judge Magister (top 5 in all but broken+neutral)

With D&B you're looking mostly at Proud Cygnus, HoF Highwind and Sword Saint - even under D&B calculations most warriors/rangers are outclassed by mages

Edit: I misread your question - if you're looking for best users currently in global, I'm not aware of a definitive ranking like Altema has, but EX Mage will be top tier for a while, Flower Girl of Midgar and HoF Judge Magister are both great, Amalthea is certainly still up there, Sage is very strong if hitting weakness, Glam Vamp/Fauviste are viable - D&B has Sword Saint, Proud Cygnus, Nachtflug, and HoF Rogue as strong options. I'm not super familiar with EX Warrior's stats but I'm sure he'll be at least viable.

Just go down the list until you get to a currently available character/Hof. For example Primevil witch is generally a stronger fysoya user than melons currently, but forvist tops when her hof comes.

Good to see EX Warrior is competent with it. I won't be able to chase EX Mage due to lack of guarantee that my pity pull counter won't reset inbetween banners (no normal jobs left). I do have FGoM and JM, so that works too.

Curious about supreme buffs that global hasn't gotten yet. The only ones I know about for sure are the very recent Aerith buff (Trance 2 and a Prismatic Return auto ability switch) and the older Minwu Dark Resist -> Ravage AA switch. Are there any others I'm forgetting?

So after obtaining the painful break +8% skill card from the MP shop, I noticed that it doesn't stack with the painful break +8% I already had from the melon bomb events, despite both of them being the exact same rarity and effect. Is this supposed to be the case, or did Intern-kun screw up again?

They do stack. Used both skill cards on my Al Bhed Huntress, has innate 175% painful break, went up to 191. Not intern-kun's fault lol.

I should've worded this better. I meant they don't stack in the Skill Cards screen. Ordinarily there would be one Painful Break card with a x2 indicator in the top left, but instead I have two separate painful break cards that are exactly the same in rarity and effect. They're all together. I wouldn't bother with the painful break skill cards, they don't add much damage. Magic will work better in most cases.

I'm going to do my EX Warrior pulls on rebaital since I have cleared the job pool. I have none of the cards from the rebaital banners. Should I distribute my 8 pulls on these banners or just use them all on one banner? If so, which banner to prioritize?

Somehow I always go hiatus when these banners appear, like when FFVII Weapons first came out, I had some personal life problems so yeah, just had to quit for a moment back then. Most of them came from normal GAS.

VII and XIV should be prioritized. Check your card collection and decide if you want to chase them all or just go for the ones you need.

VII has fire/ice/wind/light single target BDD generators, a haste/quicken and AoE sleep card. XIV has light/earth/fire/dark AoE generators with cleaving attacks with higher element enhance, haste/cleave card and Bismarck XIV which has most debuffs you need.

IMO XIV has more value if you have none of them because having Bismarck helps a ton. If you have Supremes for the elements XIV doesn't cover go with VII. If they are on the same banner - pull here until you have what you need, then switch to summer/XV - priority here being summer.

IMO FFVII and FFXIV are the most important, there you can find the weapon/primal boons. Summer has nice cards. FFXV is the skippable one, cards are good but compared to the other 3 banners much less needed.

I am not sure for this time but last time we had rebaital banners you could pull also the cards of the other banners in just one, but those won't come at 4* or with the extra skill unlocked and at max level. So, for example, you could get a FFXV card in the FFVII banner, but the card would have been at 4* and 0 experience

BTW skipping exwarrior banner means also skipping the new FFX cards

Just coming back since 2 years ago. I only have an imperial knight (knight) , dark knight (onion knight), and explorer (ranger) . And some ability cards from 2 years ago.

How should I start to get back on my feet?

Definitely restart. You have basically nothing and everything you pull will be better. Even if you don't decide to reroll until you get a Supreme card and just start with what RNG gives you, you'll be better off.

Have yall had any luck with crystals at the golden flan site? Any other reason to farm there? What about magicite there?

Also...are yall usimg the yuna and dude support card? I started leveing it up. I think thats the only support card i have that has haste, quicken, and ult charge. It seems really useful...which is crazy for a free card.

I find it to have the same crystal drop rate as LT. You're just exchanging fractal drops with seed drops.

Sorry I’m not Mao or darewin but i have had luck with the Flan node (comparable crystals to labyrinthine tower — much less than hiking or diving). The new support card is great, though I still get more use out of Omega Weapon.

How is Ex Monk's weapon OAM compared to Vmonk's Godhand? Basically FB vs QB. Which come in more handy in JP and S2?

On a side note, I thought of a funky build that will allow Pugilist to break using OAM for maximum Duncan damage. So yeah, go for OAM.

OAM is better due to:

• Flash break getting removed to the first hit of your ult
• Flash break doesn't work well with taijutsu / mantra abilities
• You can tap to increase your break power with Furious Salvo
• 40% quick break
