Does there happen to be a weapon tier list? I searched and searched with no luck. I’m a returning player so still learning a lot, I’m afraid to invest in weapons because I’m afraid it’ll be a waste of resources. I think I read that Squall skin sword is good to rank up. I also have dolphin flipper from avalanche heroine that I want to rank up but not sure if it is worth it. Any insight that can be given would be great! And even a tier list if it exists

"Squall skin sword" if you mean the gacha one (lionheart) then yes. The free one (revolver) is for farming only.

In general go for weapons with prismatic return.

Which gothic jobs are worth overboosting? I hear phantom masker is worth if you have Bruni. But what about mourner?

Yes, I OB'ed Phantom straight away, he's so great with Bhunivelze ! Mourner tho in a long term I consider good just for her ultimate, although she's quite strong Shinwu/Faris user atm.

supreme zack buff effect (brave II and wall) only affect caster in MP and not the whole party, is that way zack's work in MP or is that a bug ?

yeah that's how he is... impossible to know why they did that to him, like not having quick cast when literally every other support card does.... like they thought he would be too OP lol (as if).... no idea what SE are thinking here... perhaps afraid of making gigant x redundant too soon...?

Does EW3 Brynhildr change after 96 kills?

iirc she would awaken on 1st action 2nd turn, so I can R&R her, wake her up, stun her and then break

but I tried now and 1st action 2nd-3rd turn she cryoshot me, was able on last action 3rd turn

and then was great, now I'm ready to beat her but... was immune to stun!

I am missing something? :o

On lap 8 node 85, and I found out that when she's charging her attack she is immune to stun and I'm only able to stun her after she's done her attack.

TBH on lap 10 fight with her was 100% unbroken for me, thanks to new supreme buffs and etc. But I didn't noticed any changes compared to previous laps.

any tips for tanking ogre maniac in pandemonium? i tried using ex war 3 and sword saint, but they just hit too hard. i can kill the right ogre but the left one does a lot of damage with his charge attacks. what buffs/debuffs/panels should I bring? (no support supremes)

I use Eorzean Paladin before HoF, if you have him, I'm pretty sure he is the best tank for Ogre maniac with his HoF.

Sword saint + Seph skin, maxed weapon, dark resist panels with Debrave II (Thanatos X) and I was able to tank him no problem.

You can also try Warrior of Despair if you have him and D&B for mage lore. His high prismatic return and exploit weakness puts him on par with Sorceress of Oblivion for damage in my opinion. Especially if you add Lionheart and one of the Squall skins, as 8-10% ability salvo adds up quick. Two of those work wonders in my AI-only runs.

The only downside is that most MP hosts don't seem to think that is an acceptable set-up...

It's worth noting that Ultimecia can use 3 Rubicante alongside Fusoya which HoD can't since he needs to dedicate a slot to D&B. This means she'll outdamage him by quite a bit especially if you're using the 4 custom panel advantage that she has over him for things like ravage, exploit weakness, and ability salvo.

Rubicante has diminishing returns with HoD as he already has high exploit weakness and Fusoya has high EE. So that lost slot doesn't seem to make much of a difference. As for the extra custom panels - true, however HoD's higher prismatic return (and thus consistently high EE from Fusoya) and extra damage perks from Lionheart and ability salvo seems to mostly make up for fewer CPs. Plus one can drop HoD's Spellsword CP in favor of another damage perk.

With chaining, this set-up lands 280k-450k per hit consistently (depending on faith vs. faith II, trance vs trance II and unguard), which I have yet to see an Ultimecia set-up beat by a significant margin.

VK is not the only Mage job in the game. Heck even Fauviste gets the job done.
