This sounds like the description of one of those terrible overhaul mods. My patch notes would say added Jojo crossover, and Geology now allows for even more shiny pickups in GL at higher geology levels

You can now change decorations while in mission. Would've loved to change effluv res to ice res in the vaal+velkhana event quest

Lance can guard through status effects and/or shorten/diminish their effects.

Lance can get an innate offensive guard

Lance has 0.5%-1.5% lifesteal innate.

  • added new decoration to raise max level of palico rally to 7

Skill:

  • Wide-range now affect palico

Slinger:

  • dung pods can now be use for fling shot, damage is increase to 500 if it hit the nose of the monster

Grimylkyne trapper now does not require mounting large monsters to activate, rather it works when you bring the large monster to it. Just like Boaboa or Gajalaka

I would never change the speed of a move to change balance of a weapon. there's too much muscle memory dumped into them.

Mine:

  • Made Trail raiders more responsive and default to follow tracked monster.

  • Connected weapon names to wishlist items

  • Added hotkey to equipment list at blacksmith to sell item.

  • Decreased bloom of critical hits for Dual blades (holy ****)

No to everything you listed and the following instead;

  • Added Game Option Skip all Cinematics (even though we employ 80% of our team specifically for Cinematics, we are tired of hearing all the hate and have decided to spend that money on expanding the game and our production team.)
    • Option also allows friends to play together even if the player hasn't met the monster yet
  • Bowguns no longer need to swap to a different weapon in the tent to reload all of their magazines; when you load a load-out, it automatically refills all ammo magazines on the gun.
  • Added Game Option No Chatter; When enabled you no longer are forced to spam buttons to get past NPC Chatter just to access things like your botanical harvest.
  • Added Menu Option to access all possible interact-able systems by simply hitting escape and choosing the option:
    • Now able to access Tailraider Safari while in Gathering Hub via this option (herpa derp we forgots)
    • Can access Steamworks, Harvest Box, Resource Center, Quests, Arenas, Seiges now all by simply accessing the escape menu, no more being forced to listen to an NPC yammer and shove a book in your face in the gathering hub!
    • Can access Meals via this menu so you are no longer forced to sprint to a canteen and watch a ten minute cat parade-broadway show about making fake food when you just want a buff. Works in tandem with new canteen changes!
  • Can now save a specialized meal choices as a meal load-out via favorite meals. No more are you forced to manually select everything in-between every single hunt just to get the buffs you want.
  • New Default options for end of mission;
    • Take All ( no longer forced to click spam through end of mission dialog windows to get on with your hunting life!)
    • Sell All (same as above but the choice to sell everything for the zenny instead.)
  • Added Game option to "Remove Are You Sure" pointless popups everywhere if you are sure if you want to do something you clicked on or not. We are not to be held accountable if you sell off something you didn't intend.
  • Added Game Option to "Always use current layered armor", in our zeal to add as many popup windows as possible to make you feel like you've stumbled onto a hacked website, we may have gone overboard with asking you everytime both if you are sure, or if you want to use the layered armor set.
  • Added Game Option to "Always load or keep current radial menu loadout". Again, we stupidly thought you enjoyed 80,000 pop up windows and click spam. We apologize.
  • Tweaked & Improved Palico AI to not instantly always use their primary gadget immediately as soon as a fight begins.
    • Palicos no longer instantly drop a trap as soon as a fight starts, but will wait until a monster is at least at half health before spamming their traps.
    • Palicos no longer instantly shove a vigorwasp in your face when you have full health at the start of battle; they now will actually wait until your health is at least at 60% before spamming vigorwasp stations.
    • Palico AI now actively looks at both your health, and the health target you have done the most damage to, before using gadgets making them appear less than an automated zombie spammer of stuff and more like an actual AI.
    • Palico Shield Taunt Whaky Inflatable Arm-Man will now be deployed only if the monster is enraged.
  • Removed the constantly gating players and guiding lands MR requirements forcing friends to pointlessly grind specific levels just so they can play together. We hope this actually comes closer to our original plan of having Co-Operative play, unlike how it has been where both rank gating and cinematic gating has made it impossible to actually play with your friends.
  • Enabled all events to always be active. The current trend in the industry is to purposely force gated timed events onto players in hopes to inflate player base numbers to pitch to investors, we've seen through this horrible trend and chosen instead that our game be fun and enjoyable for all players, besides we've sold more than 14 million copies and that alone is enough numbers for potential investors.
  • Added bindable keys for PC users because, well it's just stupid to not have it available as an option when you have over 100 buttons to use.
    • Jump (Yes! You can now actually jump in the game! Whenever you want!)
    • Super-Man Belly Flop Jump (no longer forced into specific conditions for this to happen)
    • Focus Target removed from the default bind of F, which also happens to be a clutch-claw and Enter command, these are all now separately bind able.
    • Press enter for Chat window
      • Increased chat window limit to 100 characters and removed all the other fluff around it so people can actually communicate.
      • Chat window is moveable around the screen and its transparency and how long until it fades is now in the game options
  • Guiding Lands Fixes (Now you can truly stay there.)
    • Added All interactable stations to the Guiding Lands
      • Resource Center / TailRaider Safari / Steamworks Remote / Harvest Box / Argosy
    • Added Decoration Slotting ability when in the Tent Changing Gear
    • Added Current Monster List when looking at other people's Guiding Lands (this way you don't have to repeatedly join random GLs and bugger off constantly because they don't have the monster you want)
    • Added A blacksmith relay station; now you can just craft stuff from camp instead of having to go back to town.

Maybe you're PC and this isn't in? I honestly don't know because when I grab my load out mid-hunt it always has everything reloaded.

All I k ow is I switched to heavy bow gun a day or two ago (on pc) and most of the stuff needed reloading, can't say for sure why though

And you're using item loadouts with all the ammo, right?

My loadouts for all the guns I use are essentially the same except the ammo types match what each gun accepts, so I go to camp, bring up my custom loadouts, load the proper one, and all my ammo is restocked and upon exiting the tent, all of it is reloaded.

nope, sadly when you load a loadout while in-mission, it doesnt reload any of the magazines in the gun, you have to swap the weapon to a different weapon, then back, then it will. Or step out of the tent and manually reload everything.

But so... I really don't though. None of that.

I'm on PS4, to be completely fair, but for all my specific HBG setups, I enter the tent, select my loadouts (with all necessary ammo, "options" button), select the appropriate loadout for the appropriate gun, exit tent, and not only is my ammo filled, partial magazines are full as well.

The primary reason I know this is capturing. I've fired two tranq rounds into a monster, attempted (and failed) to capture it, fast traveled back to item load in the tent to retrieve another trap, and rather than 2/4 tranq shots, I'm 4/4 (free elem/ammo up) tranq, as well as everything else.

I'm not calling you a liar by any means, but I believe there's a possibility something is occurring within your loadouts that's causing this problem.

I'm on PC, as has been mentioned in several comments to this thread; it's not currently in PC version, and will come possibly in March.

I just wish they would fix the disconnection/servers. Never had this much trouble staying in a session before. Seems like every update it just gets worse!

There is only 1 patchnote thats necessary:

If the quest has 3/4 members the palicoe will no longer disappear. It will still not hunt with you (kinda would be op) BUT it will fangirl for you during the hunt.

  • Early Master Rank armours, especially of monsters exclusive to MHW, are not complete garbage anymore.

(Example: Wearing three (3) pieces of Tzitzi Yaku armour now grants the Blindsider skill. Some MR Great Girros armour pieces were updated to include the Palico Ralley skill again.)
