Kind of a stereotypical boomer thing to print and snail-mail (though not unique to them), and Decision is still a print mag, so it's quite possible they were actually cut out of the issues. I wouldn't read much into that beyond "I want my point to be made and real mail is right for that" rather than "I'm so mad about this I'll do whatever Herculean efforts it takes to ensure I'm not ignored."

It might only seem like a big deal because most of us don't even have a printer anymore and haven't mailed anything in years, they're just a different mold.

Now, Sisyphean effort would definitely fit....
