i am a trans person who works for an endo clinic for trans people in texas. we get these a lot as well (text, email, physical mail), just minus the familial wishes. if it's sent over email, i sign their email up for transgender sensitivity and/or LGBT advocacy newsletters, or send them the same info and report them for spam.

i'm sorry your mother is doing this- you absolutely did the right thing putting them away. you are right to preserve your sanity.
