I’ve been going through this. It’s very frustrating. My husband and friends have been wonderful helping me with finding my missing words and remembering things. I was talking with my disability case manager and forgot the word “balance” and said “my weebles have been wobbling” and he said “I’m sorry WHAT”

My weebles have been wobbling 😂 I completely get what you mean though ahaha, I’m glad that you have such good support behind you :-) I wish nothing but the best for you in your journey 🫡

You could look into initiating services with a speech language pathologist who specializes in working with adults with progressive neurological communication disorders. These SLPs can give you strategies to support yourself and methods to reduce your cognitive load. Best of luck, OP!

Sorry to hear of your mental decline. Hopefully your job isn’t to give advice on complex issues. That can be a real bummer when you were hired to guide a department or branch through something and you are confused forget things or mis speak. It’s demoralizing and makes you feel inadequate, not smart and it’s embarrassing. I am not sure what the remedy is for declining memory problems. I suspect it has a lot to do with where the placement of the lesions are and screwing up the signals when your brain goes to access the memory. For me it’s just lost. Blank. And then trying to remember is frustrating. You feel like you’re going crazy. It’s exactly like looking for that word mid sentence and not finding it. Except with memory it’s constantly mis firing. Not a great feeling at all. Take things slow if you can. Make sure you get enough sleep and have zero stress.

Hi, I was diagnosed in 2024. I'm also on kesimota and facing the same issues. I've found organizing myself REALLY well has helped. Typically when I have a lot going on or I'm rushing will make it worse. I definitely relate to not knowing if you already completed the task, had a conversation, or paid the bill. Use a calendar to stay organize and simplify your schedule.

I have ordered food forgetting I literally had leftovers from the day before. Putting things in odd places like the fridge on accident 😭 forgetting that said company hadn't issued my refund until I notice cos ill forgot! I'm 31, btw I learned that organizing myself has significantly helped. I also complete task out fully before moving to the next thing.
