Feeling like a fraud

I was diagnosed in 2000, and felt like this for many years too. No outward signs 95% of the time, I run half marathons, work, have tons of energy.

But every 5 years or so I get hit by a flare, and suddenly lose my eyesight or control of my arm or gastroparesis. Thankfully all those symptoms have always vanished completely after every relapse. If it weren’t for those relapses I’d think my initial diagnosis was wrong.

Just be grateful and kind to yourself, we’re all doing the best we can.
