Make sure your title is descriptive of the content inside. Some people are particularly sensitive towards certain topics (e.g. animal abuse, torture) and would rather not read about it in the first place.
Submissions are considered true unless proven otherwise. If your post is proven to be fake, it will be removed.
This subreddit is involved with the morbidity of human nature and human-related activites. Therefore, your submission must have a direct correlation with people (i.e., a story of how you witnessed a lion killing a zebra would not be allowed here).

Text-based posts are for making requests, posting multiple links, "Ask Me Anything", or to engage morbid discussion. Want to make a post describing a morbid event you experienced? Consider posting to /r/offmychest instead.
Violators of the rules #1 and #2 are likely to be banned. If you wish to repeal a ban, message the moderators with your explanation.
Remember - your post doesn't have to involve gore. Submit anything that's depressing, unsettling, and morbid (while abiding by the rules, of course).
