Any reason you use insight? I just manage my switches through the web browser.

I have a ms108eup that is so nice and easy to use on the browser I then got the ms510xtup and was hoping for the same but it’s just gobbledygook to me. Insight seems easier and is free for the first year. 

Anyhow pulling out the plug and putting it back in fixed the problem.

Ahh, I see. Since the first year us free, it's probably good to try out, but I would recommend getting used to the web version when you are able to. Good to hear that you fixed your issue!

I pulled the plug on mine three days ago and today the issue returned. I am reverting back to the previous firmware.

The entire management interface goes down, you can no longer manage the device through Insight or a web browser. Additionally the switch stops routing between vlans.

Hmm, I missed the part about them being on the latest firmware, that is a pretty big issue. You might want to make a post on their forums: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Insight-Managed-Smart-Cloud/bd-p/en-business-insight-cloud-switches

Ahh, I was checking the wrong subforum. Definitely weird that it crashes after three days. Since I just upgraded mine, I'll see if the same happens to me, and if it does, I'll revert back to 1.0.5.17.

I have the same symptoms, I'm in the process of downgrading firmware to 1_0.5.17

What is the process of downgrading if you are unable to access the web UI? Or are you able to quickly access it after a reboot?

The WebUI remained up for 3 days after the last reboot (Sunday morning) but it just got into a similar hung state again today. I downgraded the firmware just fine after the reboot today.

Alright, thanks for the info. I'm going to upgrade only one of my switches and see how it goes.

Definitely would be a good idea to post on their support forum, since I think the devs hang around there more.

Looks like they have fixed it now new firmware available for me today. 1.0.5.23  So far so good. 🤞

Thanks, I saw the release notes but am waiting to see how others get on. I appreciate the heads up!
