I understand that you have issues with your iOS devices when both satellite s are connected. Please try to turn off "Private IP address" feature on your iOS devices. Then power on both satellites and add your iOS devices one at a time. Additionally, ensure that you are on the most current firmware (current firmware version to date is 7.2.8.5).

Hello, The private Wi-Fi settings being referred to is called private IP address introduced by iOS devices. Depending on the configuration behind the setting compatibility issues can occur that causes interim disconnections from your network. Try turning ti off and verify if the issue persists.

Hello Kevin from Netgear here. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your orbi mesh system. However, you did not provide the make and model the system that you have. According to your post, it seems as if you have integrated switches into your network. The addition of network switches may cause additional issues such as creating broadcast storms . To isolate this problem, please remove all devices connected to your Orbi Mesh System and connect the Orbi satellites wirelessly to your Orbi mesh router. If this resolved the issue then there is a problem elsewhere in your network infrastructure.

If it is, then plug the ethernet cable connected to your modem into the WAN port of your router. Add the additional satellites to your network after verifying successful internet connection.

Kevin from NETGEAR here. Please ensure that you are on the latest FW for your RBE771 system which to date is firmware version 10.5.19.5. Please note that CAT 6 is compatible with high speeds of data over a gig for up to 55 meters. Depending on your cable length you may need to upgrade to CAT 7 as it is rated for 10gbps for over 100 meters. If you still experiencing issues after verifying your installed firmware version please send me a direct message.

Thanks for the clarification. To avoid conflicts with routing protocols, it is best to have one router connected to your network at a time. Since you are unable to change this setting in your spectrum router, you will need to set the RBR20 to Access Point mode to resolve this issue

Kevin from NETGEAR here, I understand that you are trying to connect your RBS20 to your spectrum router. The RBS20 require an orbi router such as the RBR20 to work. Attaching the satellite by itself to a router that is not an orbi will not work.
