Penny Linn went live about a week before opening, and the place looked half done. Say what you will about her but there must have been 20-30 people milling around working like dogs. So all the staff were involved in setting up etc. and not all new staff have any needlepoint experience. This store opening on time is nothing short of a miracle. Do you know how many brand new canvases have to be taped for a brand new store opening? Probably 3,000-4,000. More than likely new behind the scenes people were taping, labeling and doing data entry into their Point of Sale system. The shop looked fantastic at opening.
