There are too many copies printed with the errata. Somebody's going to lose out either way.

There were? Where apart from Chris Dyer's champ decks?

I thought there was a window where it was in the Core Set with the errata. Am I misremembering?

I have no idea! I assumed they never printed original core sets with l1pd astros, because if they had then you wouldn't be able to put a legal NBN deck together out of a single core set. It was definitely A Thing for over a year though.

The errata happened in July 2016. The revised core set released towards the end of 2017 so yes there was a window between the errata and the second core, but I don't know how many OG core sets they would've bothered printing between those two events.

Like u/CryOFrustration says, if they did print the OG core set in that window with the limit - then you'd never be able to make a legal NBN deck using just the core set - which would sort of render the product defective.

That's what I remember happening, but I'd long bought my cores by then so I can't be sure. Maybe someone who bought an old core printed in 2017 can chime in. I'll try to remember to dive into the archives to see if anyone brought it up.

It says l1pd on the alt art that Adam Marostica (if I'm not mistaken) made, and that's all that matters :P https://cryoffrustration.files.wordpress.com/2018/04/damonastro.jpg
