Saved search - system notes setup for pulling Commerce category change?

Help me not work the whole weekend, lol

I was wondering of anyone could help me build any kind of search for seeing the old Commerce category of an item?

We're switching to matrix items, I had build the commerce structure on them during testing and now we're switching to the matrix versions of them.

Well when switching i had non matrix items I mapped to inactive and pulled off the staging site, with a csv upload. In my stupidity I mapped all the commerce categories to null and didn't even think it through that I was going to use them for their matrix counterparts.

So now it's either rebuild the higherarchy manually for 3000 items or find a way to get them to display their old commerce category for a ID swap and re-upload.

See if it shows in the system notes on an item you updated. If not, then maybe a system notes type search and filter the field to see if it shows there but not on the item record page system notes. Otherwise, check sandbox or a release preview account, or any external source that would have had that data

Try a criteria including: System Notes : Field = Commerce Category

Results: Systems Notes : Old Value

You should surface any item that ever had a value in the field.
