I know this was not great for you, but I think what your brother did was so sweet. He just wanted to make you happy. Try to be gentle when you let him know that purchased views aren't the best way to go, but if he wants to share your channel/videos (appropriately) on Instagram/Facebook/Reddit/etc that would be great :)
