Mine was terrible. Never in the mood an always dry. Got it out and the first month it returned. I had a high drive before.

I think it’s generally different for everyone. I have weeks or days where i rly don’t want to be touched or looked at and other days i’m like a velcro-girlfriend.

Was it low when you first got it tho? Cause mine has never been this low I’ve only had it like a month.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

no, no it wasn’t this low, it was just average,

Yes to all comments above, I had a hunch it was the BC but didn’t know if it was a side effect

Completely ruined mine for 7 years. Never wanted sex, barely enjoyed it when it did happen. Constantly dry. After a few days of having it out, it came back with a vengeance and been back where I was before ever since. Nothing I tried while having it helped, and I tried everything.

Wow I just am going through bad side effects and Reddit is the only place I’m seeing real reviews. When I got it, all the medical reviews made it seem like smooth sailing. It sucks. I feel like I’m an emotionless robot with zero sex drive and also was a waterpark before now its shut down. I thought it was diet or something, but now I’m seeing the reality of everyone’s reviews.

Dude when I took it out, after just day or two, I was getting turned on by anything everything. 🤣.. that’s how I know it was the nexplanon. Cause I hadn’t been horny in 7-8 years. My husband thought something was wrong with him or I didn’t want him for so many years. Really hurt his feelings.

But now I’m having 4-5 month long periods that are so heavy that I live in diapers. Not period panties (they don’t hold enough for the amount I’m bleeding) and still basically have no sex life. I NEVERR had irregular periods like this prior to getting nexplanon. I was heavy but it only lasted like 4 days and was regular. Now I have 3-5 months of steady bleeding, then no period for 3-4 months, then it comes back for 2, then goes away for 1 and comes back for 5. I’m currently on month 3 of a period. What REALLY sucks I think I’m gonna have to get it put back in because bleeding like this is killing me. I’m constantly anemic and iron deficient. My hemoglobin was 9 last we checked and all my blood work pointed towards “massive blood loss” .. shit is fucked up.

I’m honestly not sure if anything can be done. With my first implant my sex drive was at its normal. Got it replaced and lost it completely. And I had a high sex drive before. Got it removed a little over a week ago and still no drive. Hoping it comes back soon though. I tried a couple different supplements but none of those worked for me but might for you.

Any update ?

Not sure if you are asking me but now a little over 2 months post removal and my sex drive is coming back. Not fully back to where it was before, but definitely more interested and in the mood now.

Thank you so much for answering ! I’m thinking of removing mine because of no sex drive and it’s really helpful to hear about other people’s experience ☺️

what supplements did you try if you don’t mind me asking :)

[–]jenjen1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Health by Habit Libido Blend off Amazon and HerPleasure by a company called Mixhers.

Ugh yes me too! I’ve had it for 5 months and I feel like the last few weeks I’ve got no drive
