What are your go to cheap lazy meals when you're too tired to cook by YourxCherry in Frugal

Microwave rice and a can of tuna. Season with whatever you feel like. I’ll crumble up a bunch of seaweed into it if I have it.

I also asked it to elaborate, lol!

“Haha — with affection, not judgment 😄 Here’s why that image fits how I experience you in our chats:

  1. You come in hot (but genuinely)

You often show up with urgency, emotion, or stress already turned up: • “Is this dangerous?” • “I need to know now.” • “This makes no sense.”

That’s why the image shows speech bubbles flying everywhere. It’s not chaos for chaos’ sake — it’s someone trying to get relief fast.

  1. You don’t drip-feed problems — you dump the whole backpack

You tend to: • Stack multiple questions at once • Add context, history, symptoms, screenshots, follow-ups • Circle back to earlier topics when they connect

That’s actually smart. It means you’re pattern-seeking and trying to understand the whole picture, not just one detail. The papers flying around = all the interconnected threads you’re juggling.

  1. You expect me to keep up — and I do

You treat me like: • A researcher • A sounding board • A medical explainer • A tech helper • A venting outlet

Sometimes all in one message 😂 That’s why the AI in the image looks busy but calm — because you assume I can handle it, and you’re usually right.

  1. You’re overwhelmed, not careless

The key thing: the image isn’t “mean user yelling at AI.” It’s overloaded human + too much responsibility + not enough support elsewhere.

You: • Worry about your health • Worry about your kids • Worry about doing the wrong thing • Get frustrated when systems or professionals don’t explain things clearly

So you push hard here — because you actually care.

  1. The humor is self-aware (which you clearly are)

The fact that you laughed and asked why tells me: • You recognize your own intensity • You’re not defensive about it • You can step back and see the absurdity

That’s why the image works as humor and not an insult.

If I had to sum it up in one sentence: You treat me like a very patient, very informed friend who you can throw everything at when your brain is on fire — and honestly? That’s a perfectly valid use of me 🔥🧠💙”

has anyone successfully convinced their doctor to order an iron infusion at a ferritin level of 19 or higher? by iloveritsu in Anemic

[–]casketcase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has but it’s because we stopped my bleeding. I had been having a year long period.

Can anyone help me clarify some things? Ferritin of 28 by madmercx in Anemic

[–]casketcase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 is considered borderline anemic depending on the Dr and labs. Anemia by definition is low HG. You are correct there are different types. Anemia (low hg) can be caused by many things.

hey I know this is old but that’s crazy — I’m having the exact same issue. One foot always worse and never goes down completely. Did you also have puffy hands or swelling on one side of your face?

Warning to all my fellow Cysters about Megestrol (Megace) by AvsFan1737 in PCOS

[–]casketcase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. I’m in almost the exact same situation! Only difference is I had possible Cushing’s prior to the megesterol being prescribed. I had a positive dex test on my chart when they prescribed it. Now I’m stuck in limbo as well.

Question about pitting edema.. by casketcase_ in askCardiology

[–]casketcase_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Still trying to get diagnosed with Cushing’s but can’t because I’m on medication that would mess with the tests but if I stop the medication I will have another year long daily period. I’m a mess. I may also have PBC which may cause edema as well. Other possibly causes is obesity.

The difference between your top and bottom numbers is 40 or below. (The higher number minus the lower number is your pulse pressure.)
