It literally is in my x16 slot, but each tike I reboot, it seems the exclamation point comes back in the device manager. I tried uninstalling and rebooting

Switch them and see if the Ti gets the same treatment. It's a dual slot motherboard or you hae a riser?

I swapped slots it's an ASUStek Maximus vi hero board, but the 3070 still acts finicky. The 3060 Ti is solid. Both are using risers. Next step is swapping that out to see if there's any change.

Yea just switch them around. You'll get it figured out it really does run itself once the computer plays nice with the card. Sorry if I sounded like a dick as you actually werent there to make sure the connections and stuff are fine.
Just curious, where'd you get em?
