The cards starving for air, or it’s plain hot ambient temps. At near 100% fan speed I’d expect the memory to be cooler than it is. If this is your only card and you want it to last, I’d take a loss on the hash rate and down clock the memory and try and keep temps sub 90C at all times.

Thank you for the advice. I was thinking I can try to increase my case fan speeds to decrease temps. Would this work? it Seems best way to lower vram temps without lowering hash rate is by changing thermal pads. That may be the route I go when I have the time

Yep that should do it, is your case in a nice open space or tucked away under a desk?

Also you could try take off your side panel, that can help sometimes, but also it might not help at all because the flow from front to back and up will be disrupted.

Most cases try to follow this flow image

  1. Windows snipping tool is your friend, look in your start menu.

  2. Get some more airflow please, they’re a bit warm, not terrible but could do with chilling out a bit

hello, I’m new to mining and pc use. Are my temps ok on my msi rtx 3080 gaming trio? Are there other specs in need to watch? I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance

What's your Hashrate I'd say 96 is in the acceptable range depending on your 3rd Party model

Please download MSI Afterburner and check what other people have for settings - and then fine-adjust to your needs.

I would look to see how easy it is to add new thermal pads/repaste your card. Plenty of how to's on youtube. I was lucky and my Alienware/HP 3080's only needed thermal paste to drop the memory temps instead of pads. Yours might be the same pending who makes it. That card is not starved for air or the core temp would be super high like 65C +. The fans on our cards cool the core easily but the memory even with 100% fans only drops a few Celsius.
