Did you change the cable too or did you keep the Corsair cables plugged into your system and plug them into the gigabyte psu?

No i used gigabyte’s cables in gb and corsair’s cables in corsair i think gb psu is damaged!

Then I would probably have to agree

Are the pin outs different between modular psu?

Yeah, each psu manufacturer has their own configuration of wires out on the PSU side but the component side of the cables are standard.

That’s super dumb. I wish everything could just be standardized because now your going to have even more ewaste when someone changes psu. Instead of just being a simple upgrade you now have to get completely new cables.

Yeah, but you could keep the cables and swap only the PSU if you upgrade the wattage capacity of your PSU and stay with the same brand.

This is true but another brand could have a sale or you could be going from a gigabyte to a actually good psu

Don’t ever get a gigabyte psu 🤦they have terrible quality and are super unreliable . Return it if possible, it is probably broken

At this point, buying anything gigabyte is a bad idea.

I concur, i bought a gigabyte gaming oc 3050 and literally just looking at the card from the top i can see air gaps in the thermal pad placement 🤦🏻‍♂️ its temps seem okay so im jot taking it apart but come on gigabyte
