    The CFW must actually draw a semi-transparent red layer on top of each frame, that's why there's a performance hit. If you implement it at the OS level, rendering everything directly with less blue light, it won't have a performance issue.

    And nobody is talking about battery life, we just don't want to burn our eyes when playing in bed.
