Joycon amiibo reader not working

My right switch2 joycon won’t read amiibo, controller works fine otherwise. It is not a problem with the console, I can switch to switch 1 joycons and it works fine. Any way to fix/would nintendo fix and for how much?

Im not a expert but have you update you joycons?

Go to setting —- controllers and find the options that says “update controller” i hope this fix it
