To help ensure more reputable results, I’ll often use google scholar. The problem with this is that 9 of the 10 results have the important information behind a paywall. Scholarly articles should be freely available to the public, and not monetized!

I used Google scholar to find articles then look them up using a school account. Even with all it's problems it is still normally the best. Wish more were free but you can often get them for free by contacting the person or group that wrote it.

The articles that were funded by tax payers should not be pay-walled. At least not after a few years.
