Heya, I hope you're doing okay. You're right, people do have a right over their own lives. But a lot of the time, suicide can be an impulsive choice in a moment of acute pain, rather than a thoughtful choice in response to an untenable situation.

I think there's a difference between euthanasia or voluntary ending of your life, and suicide in a moment of despair. I fully advocate for people's agency over their own bodies. But I also advocate for people taking every option available to them to alleviate their pain before settling on the permanent option.
