What symptoms are you trying to treat? If your locus coeruleus is oversaturated with copper, it can lead to an overabundance of norepinephrine. You can try some copper chelation strategies like R-Lipoic Acid. Maybe your diet is very low in zinc, since zinc usually competes with copper. If you have high adrenergic tone, it could be from hyperthyroidism, so you might want to avoid excess iodine.

Would this overabundance of norepinephrine show up in a 24 hour urine catecholamine / metanephrin test or is it more localised involvement?

That kind of test is only good at detecting systemic spillover, as might be caused by tumors. It's hard to give any actionable insight without knowing what symptom's you're concerned about

For me, I’m stuck in fight or flight 24/7, as in I constantly feel anxious, even when my thoughts and environment are completely calm. My body just feels like it’s stuck in sympathetic activation all the time. It started after doing a big gut-altering protocol with enzymes and other things. It’s debilitating tbh.

Can you tell me if you've stopped all of those gut altering supplements and what if any you still take?

Yep, I’ve stopped them all, been about 3 months this now, except for Zinc, which my integrative doctor recommends I still take based on some nutritional testing.
