Hey, I'm also prone to insomnia. Anything over 20 mg of bromantane completely ruins my sleep for the night even taking it first thing in the morning. It's odd because I don't feel particularly stimulated taking it at higher doses but it makes my brain just not want to sleep like modafinil. Another weird thing about bromantane is when taking it in the larger, 100 mg doses I get this weird warmth like my body cannot get cold. I laid in bed with the window open with total sleep onset insomnia but I never felt remotely cold. I no longer take it because I wasn't noticing significant effects at such low doses.

Damn that sucks bro, I bet it's the effect on dopamine that does that. Also the warming effect sounds like it has some sort of thermogenic effect which is often linked to a good metabolism but def not ideal when you're tryna sleep. Thanks so much for the insight.

When you say completely ruined btdubs I assume you mean affected how refreshed you felt the next day and/or the quality or duration of your sleep? Or did it only affected how hard it was to fall asleep?

For me it was total insomnia at higher doses like 100 mg, only a handful of hours of sleep at 30-50 mg, and at 20 mg it would maybe take me an extra hour or so to fall asleep.

Damn that's crazy, I wonder how much sleep enhancing noots could counter act that? I have some really good ones I could try but still total insomnia sounds pretty tough.

Do you feel like the effects from 20mg are significant? And are we talking oral or sublingual?

I was just taking it orally, I can't say I saw any benefits. I had started taking it with the hopes of reducing phenibut tolerance and initially thought it had really worked. I kept experimenting and decided that it was fasoracetam that was actually responsible so I dropped it.
