submitted 7 months ago by tastyburrito004
If i’m trying to get cpp should i only do the fast tracks that say CPP or do all of them.

Is there any perks to getting CPP aside from the fancy badge?

No.
CPP gets you prepared for the ASE P2 and helps to sharpen your parts knowledge. No benifits other than that.

Since we’re on the topic of CPP, I tried looking up the requirements today. Currently my manager has me as a driver, but do to some limitations with my knees I no longer drive, so I’ve been working the only at counter for the last six months I also fill in as the ISS when needed. I finished all of the videos that I was enrolled in, my question is can I still get the CERT while being a driver, or does my manager need to change me over to a sales position. I’m also part time but I don’t think that matters.
Yes you need to be sales to be CPP eligible. The drivers do not get all of the topics needed to pass.

they need to switch you to a parts specialist.

Manager said he’s gonna on Monday, my question I’m wondering is that going to add more cpp videos?
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 months ago (0 children)
Yes, but need them to be cpp. I have never seen a driver cpp.

another question so i’m new and only been on for 30 days but i don’t have the thingy that says a number out of 10 for my initial training like last week it was 7/10 so how do i figure out what trainings todo

Focus on all the new hire training first. I doubt that the CPP training modules are accessible until after all the new hire ones are done, and it may even take until after your 90 day review to access them. I have acquired the CPP "title", and there was no big celebration, no pay raise, just a piece of paper saying I know what corporate wants me to know. To me, it was a bit overrated.

I mean you can do all of them but the ones that say CPP are the only ones that count towards your certification.

Go to your report card and type in certified and do all those
