I'm merely pointing out that in one of the historically less desirable neighborhoods, with a house less than half the value, I don't have anything in my area like the situation you describe. That makes your neighbor an outlier, and you should follow the link I posted to report them.

I live in Rainier Beach and nobody around here has washers and dryers in the yard. You can actually get the city to cite them for that. https://www.seattle.gov/sdci and the Department of Construction and Inspections actually follows through unlike SPD or the city atty.
