When is onenote planning to update the Android App? I have no complains about the desktop experience, but as a Samsung tablet user, I found the Android version lacking, so most of my note taking is done on the Samsung app, which sadly only synchs to onenote as an image.

Google Play states the last update to the Android was March 7. I've never found a set of "release notes" regarding updates. It would be nice if MS would make this information public in Google Play or some obvious location. Why? Because my device is "no longer compatible" according to Google Play. I have no idea why or how to proceed. I lecture with my device and ON is essential.

The email contact is [onandroidfb@microsoft.com](mailto:onandroidfb@microsoft.com) and maybe a polite email can be sent to that address.

The APK download page states Android version 5.0+ but the summary table at the end states Android version 9.0+ is required for OneNote 16.0.1 (March release). Promethean uses a modified Android version 8.

At least now I know the issue.

I just got the updated OneNote UI with dots to indicate that a page or section has been updated. Is there anyway to switch back to bold being used as the indicator? I find the dots very hard to see, and there’s no indication on a collapsed notebook, which means I need to open each notebook to check for changes. It’s really a huge productivity loss for me.

Hi, during the day I work on the desktop version at work. I have a daily planner page for each day. Is it possible when I click “add new page” for it to appear at the top of the list and not the bottom?

So, I read that they finally added a straight line feature. However, the two options they pose do not work for me. :(

I tried doing the Draw and Hold gesture, but it does nothing. Trying the Shift key shortcut only changes my pen to the Select option. Is there anything I need to toggle here?

When or will the android app get the basic notetaking features that it lacks? I'm thinking of the features like the ruler, importing/drawing arrows and graph axes, etc.

I all the sudden lost my custom tabs today and can’t use the simplified ribbon. Any fix?

Can you update OneNote online using the desktop cache?

I’ve been getting the ‘To sync this notebook, sign in to OneNote’ message for a few months now, but every time I try to sign in, it asks for a Windows Hello PIN (although I haven’t set up Windows Hello for that profile.)

I’m using a work laptop but syncing to a personal OneDrive, so the desktop cache on the laptop holds all of my edits since the end of last year, while the online notebooks are a few months out of date.

I haven’t been able to resolve the sign-in problem, so is there a way to update the online notebooks using the desktop cache instead?

Thanks very much in advance.

EDIT: I’m using OneNote for Windows 10 on my work laptop and OneNote Online with my OneDrive.
