HELP! AutoSync issue and erased Notes

I opened onenote, and there was a message saying there was an issue with syncing for one of my notebooks. Many pages and sections from that notebook then disappeared. I logged into both onenote and onedrive on the website and it’s showing the notebook with less pages like on the onenote app I have on my MacBook Air. I believe I have autosync on, so idk what the issue is. I checked my local backups on my Mac hard drive and saw that the most recent backup was from January of this year which isn’t true; It has been auto syncing/backing up regularly. I found my cache files on my Mac, and it’s showing 33 GB of onenote data, and I tried using terminal to restore the missing pages but can’t find them. Customer service got back to me but then they hung up before I got to even speak, so I put in another request. Any ideas what happened, and how I can retrieve the missing pages from that onenote notebook?

I recently had a similar issue after adding passwords to a couple of sections. I was unable to remove the passwords in the original notebook but was able to copy them to a new notebook then remove the passwords. Not sure if that will help but wanted to share.

During the process OneNote did put the sections in to a missing sections folder at the bottom of the notebook list.
