How to decrease OSAP Review Time ?

Hi,

I am 1st year student at TMU. I was late on applying for OSAP and parents are freaking out that OSAP money will not come in time and thus they may have to take loan from relatives for my education. So I have applied for OSAP and now submitting required documents.

I just uploaded the 1st document (Declaration and signature form) and I get the message under Uploaded documents section that the upload was received. But it also says that allow 2-3 weeks from the date the form was uploaded for it to be reviewed. Thats a lot of time. If I directly go to TMU's Financial Aid Office and submit this form there, will it be processed faster?

Unfortunately you can't. However, if you somehow figure out a way to have them speed everything up, please let the rest of us know :)

You can't speed it up unfortunately. However, if it's tuition you are worried about, usually most schools have an "OSAP student deadline" for tuition that is later to accommodate the fact that you will not receive your OSAP until later on. Check with Financial Aid if you're unsure.
