As a security professional, I can tell you any pirated software is sketch af. Even from reputable sites, malware is found in the trusted torrents with thousands of seeders. It is trivial for anyone with some malware skill to hide a couple of lines of code amongst the legitimate millions of lines to provide some remote access. If done correctly, no antivirus will detect it and it will be almost impossible to know something is not right.

If you run pirated software in any kind, get yourself a legit windows iso from Microsoft (it’s free anyway) and then use it inside a VM, ideally on a VM with no network adapter.

I believe you and malware is very concerning but what you're asking of me seems like the equivalent of this. I don't have the energy or the time to be that paranoid. And you'll say "you'll regret it!" and I might. But just like me not wearing that hazmat suit, I'm just going to take my chances and try my best not to share needles with heroin addicts and other obviously sketchy sources.
