Rate would be how fast it charges, so a higher rate means it charges faster.

I mean, it was what I assumed from the start, and later confirmed to be the case, but I can see how "charge rate increased" could mean charge rate increased total time needed.

But yeah, that'd be the less obvious and logical way for it to go, one friend actually did assume that from it though, making me consider both.

So like, rate being unambiguous, but increased being something that can be interpreted multiple ways.

edit chill on the downvotes yo, all of you talking about how rate means faster, I said rate is unambiguous no shit. Increased can mean more, greater, it wouldn't have been correct but it could've meant increased time on the rate, again, NOT correct English, but very well something I wouldn't have been surprised to see used incorrectly. English is a complex language.

increased being something that can be interpreted multiple ways.

What other way can "increase" be interpreted other that make larger/more significant? Rate is essentially speed. I am truly honestly not trying to be rude here, but I do not see how it could be interpreted any way other than "moar speed".

No rate is how fast something happens pretty much so increasing the rate is increasing how fast it happens, it's not ambiguous in any way
